Yes, of course. We conduct name searches with NUANS Canada and register with Service Ontario. We are a member of Corporations Canada, federal corporate registry and provincial corporate registry system. Find us on federal government system.
Is this master business licence?
Yes. Previously known as Master Business Licence (MBL) is now classified into 3 different categories based on the ownership: Sole Proprietorship (owned by a person), Trade Name (owned by a corporation)and General Partnership (owned by more than one persons or corporations). This product is applicable only for the sole proprietorship where the owner is a single person.

Your registration already expired?
If your existing business registration has already expired, the government system will generate a new registration document with the same business name and carry over the same CRA accounts (Business Number, HST Account, Payroll Account etc.)
What is Ontario Company Key?
As of October 19, 2021, Service Ontario issued the notice that every Ontario business MUST obtain a company key to access the business. This implies, without company key, you won't be able to do any change nor any filing on your business. Obtaining a company key separately could be costly and more complex process. A business is required to have a physical registered office address in Ontario. A virtual mail box or P.O. box address is not acceptable. If you do not have a physical address, we offer address and mail scanning service.

  • It must be physical address in Ontario.
  • P.O. Box or virtual address is not allowed.
  • Any documents related to this business is sent to this address.
How to change the address in future?
The registered address can be changed in future paying the necessary filling fees. Many corporations start with a residential address as they do not have any rental address while registering the corporation, but they change their address in future when required.
What is Address and Mail Service?
An address service is a yearly mail and scanning service that we provide to business who does not have a local physical address in Ontario. It can be renewed every year paying similar fees. Any corporate documents that we receive, will be scanned and emailed to you.

Is this corporation registered in Ontario?
An Ontario trade name MUST be owned by a corporation that is registered in the province of Ontario. If your corporation is registered federally or provincially other than Ontario, it must be registered extra-provincially in Ontario and get the OCN number.

Requirements to own an Ontario trade name
An Ontario trade name must be owned by a corporation that is registered in the province of Ontario. If your corporation is registered federally or provincially other than Ontario, it must be registered extra-provincially in Ontario to get a trade name under it. In such case, you need to will find OCN number to your extra-provincial documents.

The Address Service provides a business registration address where permitted by law.

Use of the Address Service requires execution of a separate Address Service Agreement.

Mail Scanning Service limitations:

  • Only official government correspondence will be accepted.
  • Government mail will be scanned and forwarded digitally.
  • Personal mail, packages, bank statements, and marketing materials will be refused.

The service operates on an annual subscription basis and requires timely renewal.

Failure to renew may result in:

  • Collection proceedings.
  • Notification to government authorities.
  • Loss of authorization to use the address.
  • Potential legal consequences.

8.2 Agent Service

The Agent Service satisfies statutory requirements where a local representative is required.

A separate Agent Service Agreement must be signed before service begins.

The designated agent may:

  • Receive official government correspondence.
  • Act solely for statutory registration purposes.

The designated agent may not:

  • Operate the business.
  • Enter contracts.
  • Make business decisions.
  • Act beyond statutory requirements.

8.3 Government Information and Documentation Fees

Certain government-issued information may be available at no government cost; however, Ontario Corporate Filing Center may charge service fees for retrieving, processing, securing, and delivering such information.

Examples include:

  • Business Numbers.
  • Ontario Company Keys.
  • Other government-issued identifiers or credentials.

9. Purchases and Payment

All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

Accepted payment methods include:

  • Visa.
  • Mastercard.
  • American Express.
  • Discover.
  • PayPal.
  • Interac.

Customers must provide accurate billing and payment information.

A binding contract is formed once payment has been successfully processed.

We reserve the right to reject any order where fraud, discrepancies, or verification concerns are identified.

10. Service Term and Termination

12.3 Add-On Services

Certain add-on services may qualify for refunds if work has not started.

  • Initial Returns.
  • Annual Returns.
  • Company Keys.
  • Domains and Email Services.
  • Google Listings.
  • Business Numbers.
  • CRA Account Registrations.
  • Share Certificates.
  • Corporate Seals.
  • Trademark Services.

12.4 Company-Initiated Refunds

Refunds may be issued where Ontario Corporate Filing Center is unable to complete services due to factors within its control.

12.5 Chargebacks and Disputes

Ontario Corporate Filing Center reserves the right to dispute chargebacks and provide supporting documentation when responding to payment disputes.

13. Third-Party Websites and Content
